Rhonda SG av! How are you doing? My return trip to SG on my SG flight tix is due for March but I'm still unsure as to whether I should return then. My niece will be born then and I'll be a first-time aunt so it's going to be quite fruitful heading home in March but... don't think I'll save enough spending $$ by then although a part of me's asking, "What in the world do you really need to buy?" I might just see you guys in March...
Rhonda SG Good morning, Lotus, Blizzard and Pawnzor! (Sorry, not exactly your nicks but hard to remember so many nicks at once! Me getting old... )
Rhonda SG Yeah... what to do? Star-crossed lovers... NOT!! Anyways, thought you just commented a few posts ago that your trip will be cancelled?
av98m SG It's been a mixed year, I'm glad its almost over I think other than a laptop, which you really need, and some dramas and movies, there isn't much else? Or you need more games for your nintendo
the Bear SG during the F1GP.. the bloody project deadline is pushed to 21 March so i'll miss the F1GP, the Moomba.. the festivities
Rhonda SG Nintendo games can get here quite easily. I usually wait for sales cause I don't wanna pay the full price for something that's a non-essential item. (Besides, I still have got all those loads of games I bought during a recent sales that I haven't played with yet! ) I'm going to get a PC. Actually, I still can't make up my mind! PC or laptop! If I get a PC, I can 'structure' my time a bit more and not do the crazy watch TV and surf online and end up with a royal headache and sleep deprivation thing, plus for the same price, you get more features for a PC compared with a laptop. Sigh... And... what do you mean by 'a mixed year'? What's so mixed about it? Oh, btw, are you still moving house? What's the latest news?
the Bear SG so what kind of rip-you-off-blind-for-an-unusable PC are you looking at this time? skip everything and go with a MacBook, just soup up the RAM...
the Bear SG alas.. i think i watch too many documentaries and have too much useless information in my head.. piglets if you let them escape, become feral and wild almost overnight... and they revert to their wild state and are very very dangerous..
av98m SG I beginning to wonder if you'll ever buy a computer mixed year...well, you know some ups, some downs...the downs have the majority this year.. Well the first 2 attempts at en-bloc failed but I was told just yesterday they're going to try a 3rd time soon.
Rhonda SG I still don't know how well the Mac can do the duo thing. All I know is two colleagues of mine who did buy Mac's were discussing about their Mac experience in the tearoom and they both said that unless you're doing heavy graphics / photography stuff, it's pointless and they both regretted, get this, REGRETTED, buying their Mac's. So there! Since service here basically SUCKS, I'm still going for Dell cause of the on-site next business day service. No way am I going to pay through my teeth and bleed through my nose for PC servicing and neither do I relish the thought of lugging my PC on public transport here and then walking for miles like the Hebrews did to cross some desert just to get to the servicing shop. Don't forget, I don't drive, don't own a car, and don't have friends who are free enough to help me in this manner.
